Canada Day 2025
Come and join us for Canada Day on July 1st!
On July 1st we are open house, and everyone is welcome to come on down and celebrate Canada Day at the museum. Come down and learn about the town and area’s history. Our doors open at 10 am.
Events:
1:00 pm –Presentation from the Duck Lake Legion in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Airforce
2:00 pm –Author reading by Bob Bartel featuring his book “Dora and the Yellow Strawstack”.
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Children’s activities and crafts
Then, come and enjoy the evening festivities at the DUCK LAKE HALL
4:30 to 7:00 pm: Canteen is open serving hotdogs and hamburgers
7:00 pm- with Entertainment by Dean Smith Band
7:15-9:30 pm followed by cake and fireworks.

CHRISTMAS TRADE FAIR
Come support our local vendors and do your holiday shopping in a winter wonderland! Entrance fee is $2.00, and lunch is available for purchase. Don’t forget to by your 50/50 tickets!
Final Draw: Chase the Ace Fundraiser

The Chase the Ace Fundraiser is an ongoing lottery with weekly draws, culminating in a final draw on July 25th. Tickets are sold weekly from Wednesday to Tuesday at 7:00pm, and the draw is made every Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm at the DLRIC. If you have any questions about the Chase the Ace Fundraiser, please call us at 306-467-2057.
Tickets can be purchased at the Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre , Lanovaz Family Foods on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, Dodgies Convenience Store, or by emailing dlriclotto@sasktel.net.
Draw ends by July 25th, unless the ace is found before the final draw.
Canada Day
Come join us on July 1st for our annual Canada Day Celebrations.
The day begins with our open-house all are welcome to view our main gallery exhibits.
From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, there will be a canteen selling hamburgers and hotdogs followed by entertainment at 7:00 pm.
Canada Day cake and coffee will be served following the entertainment with Fireworks at dusk.
National Indigenous Peoples Day
Event includes an open house featuring our existing exhibits, stories, foods and art of the local Willow Cree and Métis peoples.
