    Our regular tours are from 1 to 11/2 hours long and include the stories of the Willow Cree, Métis, and Pioneers of the Duck Lake Region, highlighted by various artifacts, artwork, and photographs.

  • Education Programs

    The Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre offers a variety of programs for educators which include tours of our main gallery, tower exhibits, hand- on activities, scavenger hunts, and crafts. Informational brochures available by request.

  • Meeting Room Rentals

    The Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre has in place a 64 seat theatre/meeting room equipped with wifi and a 8 x 12 foot Viewing Screen. Recent upgrades include a brand new, easy-to-use projector and increased wifi capabilities. Rental rates include coffee, tea, and juice. Catering can be provided upon request for an additional fee.

    The Gift Shop sells various new and used books featuring First Nations and Métis stories, Saskatchewan and Canadian history, as well as a variety of different subjects.

Local Books

“Their Dreams Our Memories”

The Duck Lake history book “Their Dreams Our Memories” is available for purchase at the Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre for $49.00 for the set of two volumes.  The books contain the history of Duck Lake and many of its local residents from 1870 to 1988.

“Memories Made in the Kitchen”

The local cookbook, “Memories Made in the Kitchen”, is also available for $17.00.  This book features local favorite recipes (traditional and cultural) along with memories of the cooks who prepared them.
